Project Overview
This project explores the tradition of the type specimen, a designed artifact used to display and promote a type family’s qualities, personality, and commercial value. Type specimens not only showcase the anatomy, structure, and variations of a typeface. They also communicate the designer’s ideology, creativity, and technical skill.
